The next Wilson ARC meeting will be:
06 October 2012 – 6:00 PM in the Room 122 of Labry Hall on the campus of Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN.
NOTICE: Unless otherwise noted, the Wilson Amateur Radio Club will hold its monthly meetings, and conduct all VE Test sessions, in Room 122 of Labry Hall on the campus of Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN.

WHAT YOU NEED ON TEST DAY
IDENTIFICATION: You are required to provide sufficient identification to prove your identity. A legal photo ID and/or other formal photo IDs such as driver’s license, passport, government ID, work ID, school ID, etc. will serve as sufficient identification. Bring at least two forms of identification. Persons without photo IDs must bring two alternate forms of identification. For example: non-photo ID, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, employment ID, school ID or report card, bank statement or other business correspondence that specifically names the person and includes the mailing address shown on FCC Form 605.
TEST FEE: $15.00
OTHER INFO: Applicants upgrading must bring the original and a copy of their current license. You will also need a photo ID such as a driver’s license, work ID, school ID, etc. (as noted above).

Field Day 2012 is June 23-24
Remember, Field Day is this weekend. It officially begins at noon on Saturday and ends noon Sunday. The location is the same as last year – just inside the entrance to Wilson County Fair Grounds. Most stations will be setting up early Saturday morning to be ready.
If you plan to set up a station this year please let me or Wes Tewmey, KE4TWI, know. We would like to know what band or bands you plan to work, and if you will need power. Jim Murff, WW4BEE, will be bringing the generators this year so there should be plenty of off-grid power.
Please send me and e-mail at tom.parker@charter.net (or call me at 449-3399), or Wes at ke4twi@gmail.com if you plan to set up and/or if you need more info. You are welcome to stop by and visit too, and maybe get on the air even if you don’t set up a station. It is always fun to be a part of Field Day.
